Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, more commonly referred to as a TENS, is defined as application of electrical current through the skin for pain control.
How does TENS work?
The electrodes are connected to a TENS stimulator, which sends out electrical impulses that block the pain so you can’t feel it.
